Maury River Mission Community and the Shenandoah Living Waters Team
have partnered with the Iglesia Alianza in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala,
to provide a Living Waters for the World water purification system. The
Team left the presbytery on Thursday, May 21, for the Washington Dulles
area where they were to board an early morning flight on May 22 for Guatemala
City. They are to return May 31st after completing the installation,
training and relationship building with Maury River's new mission partner
in Guatemala.
The team is being led by Mac Sterrett, a veteran mission
trip leader having traveled to Guatemala many times to survey, install and
followup on a water system installation in San Lucas Toliman near thr Santiago
Atitlan site.
In addition to Sterrett, members of the Maury River Team
include leaders Dan Woodworth (Wayb 1st), Rhonda Richie (Olivet), and Maury
River members David (Lexington Pres) and Betty Dax (New Providence), Malcolm
Browlee (HR), Roy Fauber (New Providence), and Wistie Jobe (Lexington Pres).
