Immediate Church Secretary position available at a growing congregation in Martinsburg WV.
Join us in our mission and ministry.

We're looking for someone who is good with people, very reliable,
and self-motivated. You must be well organized and able to efficiently juggle multiple duties.

Duties entail
•    Provide clerical support for Pastor, including weekly bulletins.
•    Serve as receptionist, greeting callers & visitors.
•    Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for church records
•    Maintain calendar of worship services, meetings and events.
•    Facilitate communications, distributing mail, messages.
•    Engage in light bookkeeping, using QuickBooks software.

A strong candidate will have:
•    Strong computer skills. Proficient at Microsoft, email, data entry.
•    Ability to maintain confidentiality,  exercise discretion, diplomacy.
•    Some College
•    1+ years of clerical experience preferably with non-profits.

Church Organist

We're looking for a strong church musician, who likes people and is very reliable. Come share your musical gifts and talents in praise to God during our Sunday worship services.

Duties entail
•    Under direction of Music Director, provide accompaniment for choir, congregation, and soloists.
•    Provide preludes, postludes and other music selections for Sunday morning worship.
•    Choose appropriate selections for church seasons and themes.
•    Rehearse with choir one weeknight every week.
•    Provide music for several special worship services, and annual
Cantata with additional rehearsals.

A strong candidate will have:
•    Proficiency in organ and piano
      Excellent sight reading skills and strong experience in accompanying choral music
•    Demonstrated ability to work well in a team.
•    Ability to get along well with diverse personalities.
•    Joyful attitude.
•    2 years of experience in religious setting

Organist position is a part-time salaried position.
